Francoise Jusma, DPM

Dr. Francoise Jusma is a graduate from New York College of Podiatric Medicine. She has been practicing podiatric medicine since after her residency at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in 1997 as a private podiatrist and as staff at the Brooklyn Hospital Center. She joined the podiatric team at Woodhull Hospital in 1999 where she still works as their full time podiatrist. Her main focus is the diabetic footcare; however, she enjoys every aspects and challenges of foot pathology. Her practice includes podiatric medicine, foot surgery and sport medicine. She is certified in Podiatric Surgery by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry.

She is amicable sympathetic compassionate and caring. She manifests excellent mannerism when caring for her patients.

She is the founder of Christian Hand “The Leoda Jusma Foundation” a non-for-profit charitable organization that provides care to the poor in Haiti. She was awarded by the Overseas Medical Assistance Team for Outstanding Contribution to improving health care in developing countries, by the North Brooklyn Health Network for Invaluable contribution as a physician to improving the health of our community, by the Woodhull Hospital for community service. She featured in New York City Health and Hospital Corporation Insider for her effort and contribution to the people of Haiti after the devastating earthquake of 2010.

Her philosophy is that our life circle is not completely successful unless we give back. She goes out of her way to bring comfort not only to her patients but to anyone in need.
